Routine
It’s okay Sigs, I’m pretty sure we all sing and dance when we’re alone.
The song is Steven Wilson’s “Routine” – it was stuck in my head all week when I drew this!! it’s good stuff.
Self-picture taking
“Selfie sticks” are for losers, get a friend with long arms instead– or a camera with a timer! those are still a thing.
Q&A #4
And that’s how it all started!
I still have questions I’d like to draw so I’ll be coming back to the Q&As every now and then. If you have any questions you can leave a comment here and I might add it in the comic 😀
Invisible eyes
As someone who has sleep deprivation problems and falls asleep at lectures all the time, I can relate to him. Also, it’s Rho’s cute co-worker! and she has a NAME! that’s cool.
PS: today it’s been officially ONE YEAR since I started posting Postcards in Braille!! I’m really happy to have made it this far. Here’s to more years of comics and adventures! (we should have a birthday party)
A guide to Braille
Ever since I was a kid I have always found Braille fascinating. Which part of “reading a book with your fingers using only a bunch of dots” isn’t impressive??
It was about time for another educational comic, so here you go! Knowledge is power.
PS: next Monday, March 16th, will be Postcards’ one-year anniversary! unbelievable!!
Five second rule
Don’t try this at home.
March is here, which means we’re back to our regular updates! I had a fantastic time during my vacation and I got to recharge my batteries, which is something I really needed.
I’d like to thank Joni, Lucho, Natalie and Cyndi for collaborating with guest art! you’re all fantastic, for reals ♥
Thanks for reading and see you next Monday 🙂
GUEST COMIC: Cyndi Foster
Read the FULL VERSION (animated + sound!) at Tapastic!
This week’s comic was drawn by Cyndi Foster, creator of the webcomic Oops Comic Adventure!
I really like Cyndi’s take on how Sigma dreams (showing other senses in a visual medium like comics is hard!!), we got to talk a lot about this comic and her research for it – it was a really nice experience!
I hope you guys are enjoying these guest comics! as for me, I’ve been having a really good time and plan to be back with regular updates in March, if everything goes well. See you soon!
GUEST COMIC: Natalie Riess
It’s your new favorite band!!!!
Today’s guest art was made by Natalie Riess (aka Gearfish), creator of the cool adventure comic Snarlbear, I really recommend it if you haven’t read it already!! it’s cool stuff. You can also check her Tumblr here.
And to those who still wonder what Dog & Fries is like: imagine a mix of Animal Collective and Dan Deacon, but bad. Like, really bad. That’s your new favorite band.
GUEST COMIC: Luis Volke
WHAT DID YOU DO NOW
This week’s comic was drawn by Luis Volke, creator of the webcomic Scribbled Life!
PS: If you want to hear more about tongue clicks, here’s a TED talk by Daniel Kish on white canes, tongue clicking and human echolocation.
