Panel 1: A laboratory. A close-up of an eyedropper taking a bit of a blue liquid. Rho (off panel) says “I’m just so happy for them!”
Panel 2: Beta, Rho’s advisor, holding the eyedropper and carefully lifting it up. She says “It’s a big step, huh?”. Rho (off panel) says “Yeah…”
Panel 3: A close-up of Rho, sitting down by the lab table. He’s resting his head in one hand, tilting it to the side with a smile. He says “I can’t believe my friends are finally moving in together…”
Panel 4: Same panel, but now Rho starts sliding his head down, his hand resting near the top of his head, in a pose of defeat. He says “And I still haven’t finished my thesis…”
Panel 5: Rho holds his head with both hands, sobbind. Beta stands next to him, worried. She says “Rho, don’t cry…!!”
Panel 6: A close-up of Beta from the shoulders up. She stares down (at Rho, off panel) with a stern expression. She says “Seriously, don’t—you’ll get your tears all over my samples”
